Leaking Shower & Balcony Repair Service

We can repair your leaking shower or balcony without removing tiles using our technique of re-grouting and epoxy sealing that is backed by our product warranty. For those showers or balconies that require extra work, Sealed WA also offer a retiling service.

Leaking Shower Repair Procedure
Please note that the shower is not to be used for 12 hours prior to and after our repair procedures.

• Check areas of the leaking shower or bath for signs of water penetration.
• Visually assess the internal areas of the leaking shower or bath for damage or deterioration.
• Perform a water pressure test.
• Remove any mouldy or deteriorated sealants such as silicone.
• Remove the existing grout from the wall & floor areas where necessary.
• Remove all waste material & vacuum excess dust from the prepared areas.
• Re-grout the wall & floor areas where necessary.
• Seal behind the tap flanges where possible.
• Apply Epoxy product to the floor and wall junctions.
• Silicone the internal areas of the shower screen.
• Apply penetration sealer to the wall and floor areas of the shower.

Bathroom Vanity Tops and Basins

If you have noticed gaps, cracking of grout or deterioration of silicone between your vanity top and the wall where it joins, or gaps between the basin where it sits into the vanity, these areas will allow water to leak through which can lead to damage to your cupboards and vanity top.

Baths

Movement in the bath area can break the grout or lift the silicone between the bath and wall tiles allowing water to now gain easy access between these areas and cause significant water damage if left unattended.

Bathroom Floors

As with leaking showers or balconies, the bathroom floor may also require repair work. Water pooling in this area and general wear and tear can lead to the breakdown of grout on the floor allowing water to leak through any holes or deteriorated grout.
